We would not be nearly as successful if we did not take care of the whole child. Milford’s vision is to ensure all students make at least one year’s academic growth as well as social growth in a supportive environment of mutual respect. We motivate and challenge our students to be their best. We teach students the skills and strategies to give them the confidence to tackle any challenge. Milford Matters is our character education program to teach students the values of six key areas: respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, caring, and citizenship. We also use Milford Matters to combat bullying and teach students how to be part of a positive community. Students have many opportunities to connect to our community through activities, sports, and other programs. We encourage all students to get involved so they can have the best experience during middle school.
Milford Middle School is the greatest Middle School in the world. We provide students a safe, supportive, and challenging environment in which they can thrive. Our theme, “Embrace the Future”, will stress the importance of being prepared and helping each other as a member of a greater community. We are not satisfied with good enough. I challenged the staff and students to reach 100% advanced and proficient on the PSSA scores and we are confident that the goal can be achieved. We continually challenge ourselves to be better and strive to help all students achieve to their maximum ability. Our philosophy is epitomized with our motto: Milford Middle School-Where Great Things Happen Every Single Day!!!
