If your child has reached at least #25 in the method book, he or she will receive a band folder of music and a chart of assignments the week of February 2.  By closely following this assignment chart and completing all the work, your child will be ready to play during our first rehearsal.  The chart is the same for both Richland and Pfaff.  Click here to print another if needed.

Richland concert date is May 12 at 6:30 held at Strayer.
Click here for the rehearsal schedule.
Details for the concert:  Students should arrive at 6:10 to set up and be tuned for the concert.  Do not bring music stands to Strayer.  Please dress in nice, clean clothes and don’t forget that your feet are visible so neat feet, too.  There is no mandatory dress code for the concert except to be clean and look nice--no tattered garments, preferably no jeans, and modest hem lengths for skirts.  Wear anti-perspirant/deodorant, but no perfume or cologne as this causes problems for some of us breathing under hot lights.  It will be very hot on stage.  Chorus members will be dismissed to Mrs. Dzurenda as soon as they are tuned.
