In 2016-2017, The Office for Teaching and Learning began a new process of curriculum revision and renewal called a curriculum cycle. The curriculum cycle affords the school district two years of data collection/ analysis, and curriculum writing (if necessary). During this time, any new curriculum and resources (such as textbooks or online licenses) are vetted by teachers through curriculum writing committees and presented to the QCSD Board of Directors Education Committee prior to being voted on by the full Board of Directors.
