A learning environment is based on trust, honesty, and integrity. All work submitted by students is expected to be their own original work. Knowingly using another individual’s words and representing them as your own is known as plagiarism, and is unacceptable. This includes but is not limited to classroom papers and projects, research papers, graduation projects, etc. At Quakertown High School, the use of aids, whether by writing, verbal, or coded means, is strictly forbidden. If it is determined that a student has plagiarized, consequences will be at the discretion of the classroom teacher with administrative input.
