Tower of Jeans Fundraiser

Jeans. Jeans. Jeans. Baby jeans, faded jeans, grandpa jeans, jeans you grew out of. We will find grateful homes for any jeans you don't need anymore. Homeless shelters in the area told us that the #1 request from their residents is jeans, so let's make this happen, everyone. Please give your donated jeans to your Student Council homeroom rep, who will drop them off in Room 21 by the end of this month. Then, we'll build a Tower of Jeans in the lobby, just so you can see how many we received. Let's make that tower hit the ceiling!

Box Tops Challenge

The Box Tops have been counted.   1,198 Box Tops were collected so Milford will be receiving a check for $119.80.  Way to go, Milford!  This homeroom challenge had TWO winners.  They were the only two classrooms that collected over 200 Box Tops EACH.  So the TWO winning homerooms are actually neighbors - rooms 6 and 7!  Congratulations to Ms. Lepko's and Mrs. Newton's homerooms.  Didn't win this time?  Keep snipping!  The LAST Box Top homeroom challenge will run from now until the end of May.  Thanks to all who participate in this school-wide fund raiser.

Spirit Day

You asked, so here it is!  Friday is “50’s/60’s Day!”  Choose to dress like they did back in the 1950’s, with rolled up jeans, white socks, white t-shirts, sunglasses, slicked back hair, and poodle skirts.  Or, maybe you want to dress like they did back in the 1960’s, with headbands, bell-bottom jeans, go-go boots, flower-power shirts, and psychedelic colors!
