Career, Education, and Work Portfolio for Parents

Why: Ensure that all students have access to career exploration and preparation activities that are standards-aligned and evidence-based.

Context: Pennsylvania will be monitoring the percentage of students who demonstrate meaningful engagement in career exploration and preparation and implementation of individualized career plans through separate, specific measures based on grade-level benchmarks aligned to the Pennsylvania CEW Standards.

Documentation must include student portfolios and/or graded student artifacts resulting from classroom instruction and records of student data. Monitors may request to see lesson plans/curriculum, K-12 guidance plans, agendas from events aligned to CEW standards, scoring guides/rubrics, and/or other applicable evidence to support the reported data.
