As the school year draws to a close, the Borough of Quakertown is excited to celebrate the achievements of our Quakertown Community School District seniors with two exiting events: the senior parade and graduation ceremony. These events are a time of joy and pride for the entire community as we honor the hard work and dedication of our graduating students. Please note that these festivities may affect our community with road closures and a surprise display for our graduates at the conclusion of graduation.
SENIOR PARADE – Tuesday, May 27th
The parade will take place on Tuesday, May 27th starting at 5:30pm and will last about an hour. Please be advised that roads will be closed, and traffic will be detoured from Park Ave at 4th Street to Juniper Street to 11th Street, and Park Ave by 5th Street. The parade will finish at the front of the High School, 600 Park Ave.
Residents are encouraged to watch and cheer on the seniors as they parade by! Please plan accordingly and expect delays/road closures.
Events of the Day - Tuesday, May 27th:

GRADUATION – Wednesday, June 4
The Quakertown Community High School graduation will take place on Wednesday, June 4th at Alumni Field. They are expecting over 2,000 in attendance, which will cause traffic delays and parking will be limited. Gates will open at 6:30pm.
Per Quakertown Police please be advised of the following recommendations and restrictions:
- Handicapped Parking: Both sides of Park Avenue across from the stadium, 8th Street, and the school parking lot off 7th Street. Golf cart escorts will be available for those in need.
Closed Roads/No Parking: 6th Street between Park Ave and Juniper Street, 7th Street between Park Ave and Juniper Street (unloading only), and Park Ave northside between 6th/7th streets. Park Ave will be closed during the ceremony and illumination display for safety.
Parking Open to the Public: Rear parking lot behind the high school and tennis courts is open to the public.

Morning Star Fellowship Church at 429 S 9th St.

All other streets are open to the public, but please be mindful not to block driveways, fire hydrants, and private property.
SURPRISE DISPLAY
At the conclusion of graduation, there will be a very short surprise display to help congratulate the graduates. The gates will be closed during this time and will open at the conclusion of the illumination display. Please use caution in the area and if you live in the surrounding area, please make sure all pets are secured and safe.
