Superintendent Spotlight

Each month, the Quakertown Community School District will take time to celebrate one of its own — from each school - a teacher, staff member, or employee who goes above and beyond for our students and the QCSD community. Through the Superintendent’s Spotlight, the district aims to recognize those whose hard work, care, and commitment help make Quakertown a special place to learn and grow.

For November, Dr. Crater and Dr. Friedman celebrated Mrs. Caputo.

Kudos to Mrs. Caputo, one of our outstanding special education teachers at Strayer Middle School. Jeanne has been going above and beyond in her support of the life skills class, showing incredible care and dedication to both our students and staff. Her commitment to the Strayer community, and especially to our complex learners, has made a remarkable difference in the lives of each student she works with.

Mrs. Caputo’s focus on academic growth, while also building strong routines and structures, has created a safe and supportive environment where students can thrive. She has been instrumental in guiding and mentoring paraprofessionals who are new to their roles, ensuring they feel confident and equipped to provide the best support possible.

Her positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and willingness to step in wherever needed reflect the very best of what it means to be an educator. Mrs. Caputo is not only making a difference in her classroom but is also strengthening the fabric of the Strayer community.

Thank you, Mrs. Caputo, for all you do!
