Each year, the month of January is reserved for celebrating members of our community who go above and beyond for the students of Quakertown. On average, these individuals give 120 volunteer hours of their time per year, supporting our students, educators, and families, but often go unnoticed, despite their impact being felt every day and in every classroom.
Please join us in thanking the extraordinary members of the Quakertown Community School District Board of Directors:

Guided by the mission to “prepare all students with the knowledge, habits, and skills they need to graduate ready for college or career and for engaged citizenship, all at the best value to our community,” the QCSD Board’s leadership helps to ensure that every decision is focused on student success while being responsible with our community resources.

While academics are a strong focus, the QCSD Board believes a quality education is more than just good grades. Strong lifelong learning habits, taking personal responsibility for oneself, and making meaningful contributions to society are all attributes the QCSD Board believes each QCSD graduate should master during their time as a Quakertown Panther. Each month, they are tasked with balancing innovation with fiscal responsibility, ensuring students today and in the future have what they need to thrive.
This year, the Board is led by President David O’Donnell, who joined the Board in 2023, and Vice President Brian Reimers, who was first elected in 2019 and then reelected in 2023. Together, they bring experience, continuity, and a shared focus on progress. Already, two new committees have been added to our opportunities to connect with our community and parents to build a bright future for Quakertown, including a Student Activities and Athletics Committee and a Quakertown Elementary Ad Hoc Committee. All members of the public are welcome, and we encourage public engagement:
