Priska Poyner – September 2025 Student of the Month

Priska Poyner

Nominated by Mrs. Conroy and Mr. Breininger:

Priska has shown tremendous growth over this past year, demonstrating resilience, determination, and a strong commitment to her goals. She works hard both in and outside of school, balancing her academics with other responsibilities, and continues to push herself to achieve more each day.

Daria Havryshchuk - October 2025 Student of the Month

Daria Havryshchuk

Nominated by Ms. Henry:

Daria transferred to us from another school last year and has been taking advantage of our honors and AP level courses and maintaining all As and Bs.

She participates in various math and science competitions. Very gifted with Computer Science. Tutors on the side as well. She is also applying for the Biliteracy Seal for Ukrainian and Russian. Daria brought the Computer Science Club to life by working with Mrs. Cordisco to start the new club this year.

Maria Del Cid Acosta – November 2025 Student of the Month

Maria Del Cid Acosta

Nominated by Ms. Schoenly: Maria works hard to complete her work and asks questions if she does not understand. Maria helps fellow classmates without being asked to do so. She is always checking in to make sure her teachers are doing well. Maria volunteered to work in the football snack stand when she found out that we needed the help. She has a job and works hard. She fills in for coworkers without being asked.

Caitlin Waninger – December 2025 Student of the Month

Caitlin Waninger

Nominated by Mr. Zajkowski: Satisfactory is a word that severely underscores Caitlin's abilities inside the classroom. All of her work is exceptionally insightful and speaks volumes to her level of initiative and engagement. Not only does she exceed expectations, but she actively questions her learning along the way, acting as an advocate for herself and her peers as they seek true understanding.

Caitlin actively models in class expectations at every point of the day. I can always count on her to be actively listening and demonstrating positive behaviors such as kindness and community to her peers. In my three years of teaching, I can confidently say that Caitlin's responsibility and respect stand tall.

Caitlin engages in Quakertown theater program, demonstrating resilience, ownership, community, and kindness outside of the classroom as well. She is clearly passionate about theater, and commits a great portion of her time to further herself as a part of this community.

Congratulations, Panthers! Your dedication and commitment to yourself and Quakertown Community High School are phenomenal!
