All four students holding up their art work

The Hope & Healing Juried Art Show is an annual event centered around the idea that art can provide peace, calm, and inspiration in a healing environment. Each year, students are offered the chance to submit their work and be selected for the gallery show. There, healthcare professionals can select pieces to display in their hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and other healing facilities at no cost. All of this is to give patients and their families a window of hope, particularly in spaces where an outside view isn’t possible.

Today, artwork from the 16th Annual Hope & Healing Juried Art Show can be found in more than 40 hospitals and healing facilities—and four Quakertown students’ works of art were selected to help bring comfort and inspiration to those in need.

In addition, a panel of judges with expertise in the arts and/or healthcare awards a top five with honors, ranging from $500 to $150. Community Honor Awards are also granted by individuals or organizations that select a winning piece, name the award, and fund a $100 prize. For the 16th Annual Hope & Healing Juried Art Show, four Quakertown Community High School students were recognized:

·         Brylie Kepner received the Emmaus Arts Commission Award ($100) for “Tet Lanterns.”

We are proud of these students for using their creativity to bring comfort and hope to those in need. Their artwork will continue to make an impact beyond the gallery, offering moments of inspiration to patients and their families.
