Dear QCSD Community,
Our district is beginning work on our next Comprehensive Plan, the roadmap that will guide our schools through 2030. A plan that serves every student needs input for every part of our community, and we want you to be a part of it. We have identified four priority areas for the next plan:
OUR FOUR PRIORITY AREAS
Student Achievement and Growth: How we make sure every student learns, grows, and leaves our schools prepared for what comes next.
Culture: How we build a school community where every student, family, and staff member feels connected and proud to belong.
Finance: How we responsibly plan, spend, and protect taxpayer dollars so our investments support students now and keep the district financially healthy.
Facilities: How we maintain and improve our buildings so every student and staff member works in spaces that are safe and ready for the future.
For each area, the survey asks three questions:
What is the most important goal we can accomplish by 2030
What actions must we take over the next three years?
What numbers and stories would show us we're making progress?
The survey is open to everyone. You can access it here:
QCSD 2027 - 2030 Comprehensive Planning Survey
Please respond by Friday, October 23rd.
As part of this process, we are also forming a Comprehensive Planning Steering Committee to meet twice and help shape the plan:
Wednesday, November 18, 4:30 to 6:00 pm, District Service Center
Wednesday, January 20, 4:30 to 6:00 pm, District Service Center
If you are interested in serving on the committee, the final questions of the survey ask for your information. We will do our best to honor requests, but we are also building a balanced committee that reflects the many voices in our community, so not everyone who expresses interest will be selected. We will notify all interested individuals by November 1st.
Thank you for helping us build a plan that reflects who we are and who we want to become.
Dr. Lisa Hoffman
