Quakertown Elementary had a very special guest—third grade student Grace Vitko—as PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY!
Grace won this exciting opportunity by putting one of her PRIDE tickets into the "Principal for a Day" basket—and her ticket was selected!
Grace started her day by putting on her official uniform, meeting with her new Assistant Principal, Dr. Bubser, and reviewing the day's schedule. Grace made sure not to miss her favorite class—gym—and for lunch, she visited with first-grade students.
Throughout the day, "Dr. Vitko" and Dr. Bubser checked in with classrooms, connected with students, and even handed out her very own “Dr. Vitko” PRIDE Tickets to students who demonstrated QE pride or answered questions correctly.

Grace also had a chance to patrol the halls alongside Officer Lee and ended her day joining a fourth-grade math lesson in Mrs. Goldcamp’s classroom.
Grace shared that her RIASEC letters are: R (Realistic), I (Investigative), and S (Social). She loves being hands-on with animals, asking lots of questions, and spending time with people—qualities that made her perfect for a day in leadership at QE.
By the end of the day, Grace was already thinking about the future: she definitely wants to explore being a principal someday!
Thank you, "Dr. Vitko" for being such an extraordinary student.
