Thank You Mr. Fred
By: Maggie Willson, QCHS Senior
This week's #PantherPride moment comes to us from our QCSD Community, wanting to thank a very person:
The Quakertown Panthers are proud to partner with Levy Bus Company to transport students to and from school each day safely— the drivers go above and beyond to ensure that young learners feel welcomed in their vehicles, but one in particular stands out. Mr. Fred is a bus driver for Pfaff Elementary School, and a member of the QCSD community; he is recognized for his compassion and never-ending care for Kenya Peterson Karnga’s son.
Fred was first assigned as this student's bus driver when he started at Pfaff and “has always been kind and understanding of [her] son, who is on the Autism Spectrum”. Now, as this beloved student enters middle school, Fred once again welcomes him onto the bus every morning with a smile on his face.
Fred has worked for the Levy Bus Company for many years, and his dedication to providing care and support for QCSD students has never failed to impress. Over the years, his constant support to this young boy meant so much to Kenya Peterson Karnga that he is now considered family and an uncle to her son.
Do you have a student success story? Know an amazing teacher? Or a staff member who knocks it out of the ballpark? We want to hear from YOU! Share your Panther Pride story with us, and you could be featured in our next Panther Pride Post! Share your story here: https://shorturl.at/uW9Te
