The work of Caleb Einolf, titled “Tranquility,” was chosen for the competition that promotes hope and healing by communicating messages of peace, calm, comfort, and inspiration.

The artwork of Quakertown Community High School senior Caleb Einolf will be displayed in the Baum School of Art’s Hope & Healing Exhibition. The juried art show runs from February 28 to March 19.
Caleb, a student in Amy Migliore’s Advanced Digital Design class, will receive a monetary prize for his vector art, titled “Tranquility.” The image shows a sailboat with sun, clouds, and birds reflected in the water. Its title is very fitting.
“I’m pretty excited, it’s a cool piece,” said Caleb, a kayaker and two-time Gold Medal winner at the recent Suburban One League’s Liberty Division championships. “It’s a pretty scene. This is the first time I’ve entered an art contest, so I’m very grateful to have won.”
Ms. Migliore described Caleb as an accomplished student, who excels in the three A’s - academics, athletics, and the arts - as a “fabulous representative” of the Quakertown Community School District.
“He recently set new records for our swimming team and is one of our most gifted students academically as well as one of my educational interns for digital design. He has made winning logos for local sports teams, high school clubs and is currently working on designing the program and poster for Spring Musical. One of the skills he has developed in digital design over the past few years is a sophisticated flat vector-based illustration style, which is evident in this award-winning piece called ‘Tranquility.’ The circular design was digitally constructed from many layers of independent shapes and gradients. This is what gives it a smooth and serene feel.”
Each year, high school and college students are asked to participate in the Baum School of Art’s annual art exhibition and competition by creating artwork that promotes hope and healing by communicating messages of peace, calm, comfort, and inspiration. Not only does this exhibition provide students opportunities to explore creativity and create art to help others, but it also benefits the viewers in hospitals and healing facilities where viewers seek inspiration to heal.
