Seniors commit to continue athletic careers

A ceremony was held in the Quakertown Performing Arts Center to recognize the student-athletes.

These 12 student-athletes announced their plans to continue their athletic careers in college.

Twelve Quakertown Community High School seniors officially announced plans to continue their athletic careers at the next level Tuesday in a ceremony with their families, friends, teammates, coaches and the school community.

The event included lots of laughs, some tears and highlighted the importance of athletics in education.

The outstanding student-athletes honored Tuesday were:

  • Dylan Harrison (football) Wilkes University
  • Zoie Kartsounas (track) Immaculata University
  • Kaiden McSeed (soccer) Eastern University
  • Brandon Pierce (baseball) Chesapeake College
  • Sammi Radzai (track) West Chester University
  • Freddie Retter (football) Kutztown University
  • Anthony Schiller (football) Widener University
  • Will Steich (football) Widener University
  • Jade Williams (track) West Chester University
  • Tyler Woodman (football) Widener University
