FAFSA Completion Night!
The 2026-2027 college/trade school financial aid application season is well underway! Seniors and their parent/guardian can now complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is essential for accessing most federal and state financial aid for higher education. To get started, simply click the link below:
https://studentaid.gov/
Important Note: Please ensure you're completing the 2026-2027 FAFSA (not the 2025-2026 form).
Most families will be able to navigate the FAFSA process independently. However, if you encounter any special circumstances, confusion, or obstacles, the QCHS Future Readiness Center will host a FAFSA Completion Night on October 30th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. This event provides a dedicated time to work on your FAFSA application using the school's computers or your own laptop. A financial aid expert from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Access Agency (PHEAA) will be on hand to help guide you through the process if needed.
Please note: This is a work session and not a presentation. If you plan to attend, be sure to register in advance using this LINK so we can prepare for the number of families attending.
Before starting the FAFSA, both the student and the parent/guardian will need to create a studentaid.gov account at Studentaid.gov
Please complete this 1-3 days before attending this event.
Not sure which parent needs to fill out the FAFSA form? Click on this LINK to find out: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdm_D7l7vgy4bi3Ov1NpuVmLo0wKXipmu-5x90xPVQqtqvhGA/viewform?usp=dialog
